I have been using this to pick up items that have fallen behind my office desk and got trapped between the pretty much immovable desk and the radiator. Works fine except at times when the alignment bar just below the rubberized component won't allow the device to be rotated to the required position. I recovered a green laser pointer I had forgotten I owned!
