Terrible. I bought this a while ago. Finally used it and it quit working first time. Handle got extremely hot and it quit working. Do not recommend this at all!!
Update - Company contacted me about the problem that I had with this tool. They actually sent me a new tool to replace the first one. The Hot Knife works fine. A very big thank you to the company for standing behind their product. I would recommend buying this tool. Great Company..

So far so good. I was looking for a tool to help me cut strings for french horns without having to heat a knife via. a torch. This thing can turn red hot on high and has an adjustable temperature setting on top. As I get a chance to use it for extended periods of time I will update the review. I will also post a video and/or pictures. Fast shipping and seems very well built. I spent a lot of time trying to find the right tool for what I needed, and this fits the bill perfectly. Durability will be put to the test and I will report further. So far, I am VERY pleased.
Update 07/13/2016:
Used this for an hour non stop cutting strings. Blade needs cleaned but unit is working great! This is probably the hardest any electric knife could be used for continues use and it is doing great. Will keep updating.

This is an amazing gadget! I use it to heat seal ribbon for my etsy shop. It is quick and easy to use. There is a bit of a learning curve...I've found that you want to cut with the part closest to the botton, not the top. Otherwise, your ribbon will move and the cut will be less accurate. My husband bought me a piece of glass to cut on. Works perfectly!
