The Basket I Was Looking For!

One of the reasons I bought my mobility scooter was to make trips to the grocery store which is about a mile away from where I live. I could tell from the photos of the scooter that the front basket simply was not large enough. After a little searching around I found this basket. It attaches to the accessory rod on the back of the scooter and hold a lot of groceries. I have carried close to 40 pounds of groceries at one time in this basket.
I would recommend getting some bungie cords for use with the basket.

My husband likes to ride the scooter to the store, the basket is so handy. We have to be careful when I turn the seat around to get on or off because the basket is attached to the back of the seat and swings with it. But it is wonderful. It's easy to reach, holds quite a bit, and it can be taken off and put on easily.

Just the right size for my shopping with the cart. I did however have to bore out two of the holes at the attachment point to my cart to make them wide enough for the cotter pin to fit through. (This was due to a problem with angular alignment - but easy to do with a portable drill).
