Excellent board! The pins go all the way through. Mine didn't come with pins even though the package insert said it comes with the board but it's fine since my plan was to put my collection of pins on there.

I'm, glad I read the reviews which helped me in deciding what board I wanted. I got the 24 by 18 which is perfect. The blue is a nice color -the push pins with the exception of the thumb tack push pin is nice. The board was packaged carefully which I was glad because from one of the review was recd dented etc. Also which was good easy to hang with hooks already on the frame.
