Chair parts were damaged

One of the legs had damage, probably from shipping. The back support at the bottom was broken. I had reattach it. See the white line in the second picture. I am hoping that the chair will last for some time. The table quality is good and assembling was easy.

Seems solid enough and it was easy enough to assemble that my six year old did it with minimal assistance (mostly additional tightening and some part holding) in less than 2 hours.

Guidecraft Children's Media Desk and Chair Set was delivered on time and well packaged. The only damage I observed (after assembly & desk top was facing down during most of the assembly) was a small area of paint that was scrape off on one corner of the desk top, but no big deal and the damage may have possible occurred when I was assembling it.
The directions were fairly easy to follow and it took me approximately 1.5-2.0 hours to assemble (my skill level is approx.7/10).
The only item I didn't like about the desk was the cork that came up a bit short from top to bottom on the rear wall of the desk.
Overall my 9 yr. old Granddaughter really loves her Christmas desk.
