I can't tell you what this robe will feel like in 10 years, but I fully expect to be wearing it then. It covers the basics... warm, but wearable year round, and I live on a Southern California Beach. I feel warm and comfortable, but able to wear open on a moderate spring or fall morning. Luxurious, expensive feeling flannel. Now, here's the money: It's been a long time since I've felt enthusiastic about a robe! If you give as a gift, it is exquisitely packaged... it's like the Apple engineers designed the packaging. Elegant, quality presentation. I did not have reason to contact customer service, but the packaging, instructions, and collateral materials were top notch. I love this robe and can't bear to throw away the packaging! I predict they will be increasing their prices... they should. It's that good. By the way... I loved this robe.

The robe they sent me originally became far too small when I washed it in cold water. I thought this was due to some kind of misrepresentation of the 5% shrinkage figure so I wrote them. They agreed to send me a new one, but after they agreed and before they shipped it, I saw that the real reason for the misfit was that one of the arms was sewn 2" shorter than the other! This is why it restricted my movements! I told them this and then when I got the replacement (and thank you Noble people for that) with the next size up, it was indeed a perfect fit after washing.

So I recommend that when you get your robe, and you should because these are good, soft and warm and a good price, you check to see if it is sewn correctly. And further, I would order a larger size than you think. After all, it is a bathrobe and if it is somewhat bigger that is no big deal, but smaller is a big deal ;-)

I was not familiar with the Noble Mount brand, and when I saw their extremely low prices, I feared I was ordering from a cut-rate manufacturer. What a pleasant surprise to be so terribly wrong. This small company from the Pacific northwest produces extremely high quality clothing at prices that are unbelievably low. For many years, I have purchased my summer-weight bathrobes from the same company in Freeport, Maine; I would judge the Noble Mount robe to be as good as or superior to those robes in every way that matters (fit, fabric, quality of tailoring, extra features, etc.), and it cost less than half the price that I am accustomed to paying. I like to keep at least two robes on hand since I wear them so much; now that I know about the quality of their products, I will purchase my second robe (and all subsequent robes) from Noble Mount as well.

I bought this robe through Amazon and it was delivered on time, as usual. The robe is made by a company named Noble Mount, a company that I had never heard of but I am glad to have found through this purchase. It is slightly heavier than my old cotton flannel robe and If I had tried on in a store I may not have purchased it. That would have been a mistake. Living in Florida, a lightweight robe us usually sufficient for our weather and at first I thought that this robe would be too warm. After giving it a gentle cold water first wash and tumble dry, as per instructions, the feel was softer and smoother to the touch. Size is perfect for me. I am on the border of small/medium and always need to try on clothing for fit so I am very pleased with the size of the robe fit me so well. I did not expect the high quality of this robe for the price, so was somewhat surprised. Even the box that it came in was quality; too good to through away so I will keep it for my love letters (ha ha). I have "Liked" Nobel Mount on Facebook and am now following their site at which they have great, high quality merchandise for reasonable prices. I am a won over customer

I am going to join the chorus here and praise this robe. I'm actually shocked at the level of quality for this price. This is a good, solid, warm and soft flannel. Nothing cheap about this robe. As others have noted it comes in a very expensive looking gift box and wrapped in tissue. If you give this as a gift the recipient will be pleased and think you spent way more money. I followed the advice of previous reviewers and bought the large/extra large for my son who is 6 feet tall but super skinny (he normally wears a men's small). The robe was quite large in the shoulders and the arms very long. I washed it once in cold water as directed with the hope that it would still shrink. It only shrunk a very little. Next I washed it in hot water and it shrunk more but just so that it fits perfectly now. I just bought another for my younger son and will keep this in mind as a go-to gift.
