GARBAGE, bad stitching on handle probably means you will have bad stitching somewhere on your bag, too!

Garbage- the bag was never sewn properly. What good is it without the closure piece. I bought this to carry some camping gear. I will be the first to tell you it was packed heavy but what ripped has ZERO to do with it. The piece of velcro closure around the handle is soooo strong that it ripped out the opposing patch of velcro. Actually, what my wife told me is that not only is that velcro extremely tacky but the sewing was a fail. The stitching was improperly done so on my first few uses on the same trip- the handle started tearing away. I could see the bag itself wearing out but the handle close on the first few times which had no stress on it is coming apart.

Yes these bags are huge they aren't kidding. They are a hearty weight and I was very pleased with the quality. We bought four 36" bags for our move from Hawaii to Portland. I would probably go with a smaller bag if I had to do it over again. Here's why, technically the bags were over the 62" linear size (length x width x height) allowed by the airline we were flying and could have been charged as oversize bags. We got around that by making sure the bags stayed under 50 lbs and were not stuffed full. If challenged we were prepared to tape the bags tighter to meet the airline size requirements (moving is expensive gotta save where you can). Because the bags weren't stuffed full, they were floppy and a bit unmanageable. I think next time I would go with a smaller bag and stuff it full up to 50 lbs. That being said, we were able to drop our 36" sound bar into the bag and bring it with us, so sometimes big isn't all bad. Now they are in our basement stuffed with all our camping stuff and we still have room to spare.

Great product so far! I ordered the 42" first, and it was so huge, I had to return it. The company issued a quick refund, and I got the 30" two days later. The size was perfect. It held a waterproof truck bud travel bag, a sleeping bag, twin-size air mattress (deflated, of course), and an ammo can. It's big and prefect for what I need. Also, the material seems very durable and the hardware, strap, handles are solid. If I need another bag like this, I'll get one of these--good quality, good price.
