Good for the trash, ruined my seat

Piece of junk, does the opposite of what was announced. Look at the picture and the mark on my backseat after 1 month of use!
There are some kind of blue rubber bands beneath the protector and those left a permanent mark in my seat

no complaints but nothing lifesaving

These seem to work really well. Super easy to install (feels weird even calling it "install" .... you literally just put the loop over the headrest) and it stays in place seemingly forever. Its been six months for us, and I have never had to readjust or fuss with it.
If you're using LATCH to install your base, it makes it a bit more of an exercise to find the hooks, but I think that just depends on the car.
The one time it was removed for us, we did find a few miscellaneous items that had snuck underneath, but I am sure it is a mere fraction of what would have been under there without it. Also, you know, you have a baby, so things might get a little messy... never going to be able to completely prevent that!

Do not use aftermarket products!

Did not realize at the time that you aren't supposed to use aftermarket products with your car seat. We've since removed it. Do your research on which products can go with which car seats and booster seats.
Keeps the car seat cleaner and in better condition than without.

The wife likes to give our daughter snacks in the car seat and I got tired of cleaning up the mess (we have leather or whatever vw calls their stuff) so it's not tooo difficult but still annoying as some stuff dries hard. Also our girl gets her shoes dirty and then kicks the seat (she's rear facing in the vw) and this now captures that dirt and keeps the leather stuff looking new.
Our neighbor actually had this on her registry and we got it for them and after I looked at it I said, heck this should work for our car so I bought another one!

Perfect for underneath my car seat attached using latch system

I bought this to protect the leather car seats in my 2015 Toyota Highlander. My SUV has 2nd row captains chairs - not the bench seat. The protector doesn't leave marks behind after taking it out and keeps my granddaughter's feet off the seat back. It's easy to wipe down and after time, the front section does relax enough to lay down against the front of the seat cushion. Since I intended to attach the car seat using the latch system (and not the seat belt) this fit my needs. If you intend to secure your car seat using the seat belt, I will tell you that this protector extends over the belt buckle and will not accommodate that.
