Beware of splinters - Love it!!

This ladder is rustic and obviously handmade (in a good way) which is the look I wanted. It has a slight, uneven slant that does not create a stability issue, however it does give it its own personality. Typically, "uneven" would not work for me. I would be cautious hanging anything that is delicate, or that will be used and moved a lot, due to the splinters snagging. I was initially going to actually "use" this ladder to hang all the throws that we have accumulated and use frequently. Because of the splinters, I have decided to place a nice throw that compliments the rest of the decor and use the ladder more for show. I am still very pleased with this item.

though this is the cheapest of the bunch when searching for a 6ft decorative ladder... it is not worth the price. from a far it looks good, but when you get up close, the quality is poor... it is too rough to hang blankets on, the paint is not nicely applied (there were even finger print marks on it) and it is nothing more than 2x2 pieces of wood that is painted. save yourself $80 and make your own for $10!

I should have read all of the previous reviews before I bought the ladder. I bought it because I could not find what I was looking for. I was really hoping that it would work.
The ladder is well built. The rungs are too short to hold the quilts like I would like. The ladder is sparsely stained to look rustic. I was expecting more of a painted and sanded finish. I am going to cut my losses and send it back. It was expensive for what it is.

Not a good blanket ladder

This ladder is a little too "weathered" to be used as a blanket ladder. There were staples and splinters all over it so I wasn't comfortable hanging any fabric from it. I am returning it because it's not going to work for what I need it to and wasn't worth the cost.
