My daughters took some surf lessons in florida during a family trip and fell in love with it and had to have a board of their own - The surf instructor recommended this board, more specifically this company, for being the best beginner boards for my girls to continue to learn on.

You cannot go wrong ordering this board! Really well built and beautiful. I ordered this board for my daughter's 9th birthday. It arrived quickly, but unfortunately was damaged by the carrier. I contacted Alex at Gold Coast Surfboards and he immediately took care of the issue! I have not seen excellent, personal customer service like this in a very long time. The surfboard is very sturdy and comfortable, and makes it very easy to ride the waves. My daughter is super stoked about her new board and I'm a happy customer! Started out with a 8' gold coast board that broke on me due to my own fault and Alex replaced it and had it across the country in my mailbox (not literally) within 5 days. I broke that one too and recorded to buy another board and try a 7'footer since I've been going out a lot with my 8'footer and have been making progress. The 7' ruckus is great and I'm able to maneuver a lot better. I'll continue to buy boards even after I break this one. I'll be going out tomorrow to catch the butt end of the hurricane swells which are forecasted at 8'. I'm 179lbs 6'2" and as I've said, this board is great.
