I really liked this tool. It is sturdy and does the job. Issue: It can be really hard to pull it straight depending on where you have to put the fitting. If you do not get it perfectly straight the insert goes crooked and it is a pain to get the bolt started. I am not a small guy and there were times I had to have help getting it started. Again, it works well, you just have to be careful.

UPDATE: 6/25/2019 - After waiting for nearly a month, they finally had new mandrels in stock. Instead of receiving a new mandrel (which I would have been fine with), they sent a whole new kit. I've used the new one numerous times with no problems. SmittyBilt was a little slow in getting it to me but their responses were timely and I'm quite pleased with the outcome. Updating rating from 3 to 4 stars.

Received today (4/3). The 1/4 20 mandrel broke on the first nutsert! I work in a fab shop and we use nutserts on a lot of our projects so it's not as if I've never used this style tool. The only reason I bought this was to replace a worn-out tool of the same style. I contacted smittybilt and was told that they won't even have a replacement mandrel available for purchase until the end of the month. I'm hoping I just got the 'rotten egg of the bunch' and that they'll make right and send me a new mandrel. If they do, I'll reflect that in an update to my review but my initial impression of this tool is simply disappointment.

Worked well for the one I had to do after I figured out they had sent 2 M10 nuts and not a M8 (of course the one I needed). When using the M10 nut on a M8 it leaves it too open on the outside so first try failed, but put the nut for the 5/16 (I think that's the one I used) on the M8 shaft and it all worked well.

This tool set is perfect for installing nutserts that are required for some jeep mods. A solid tool for the money. It works well on the few occasions I need to use it.

what a great tool - to your advertising department as myself i was looking for a tool that would use a 3/8 nutsert "your tool in m search" did NOT have a complete list of sizes, but because of the name and other products we've used in the past, i called and talked to your tech department - second- as "not shown" in this ad your tool comes with a very nice tool box and instructions but not pictured - you could double - triple your sales with the missing info
