I purchased this for one purpose, guarding my pool. This season a duck has attempted to take up residency in my pool and I have tried all manner of things to discourage his behavior. This is the latest attempt, a large visible snake near his water source should discourage him from choosing my pool. I will update this later after I have time to watch to see how effective it is in case anyone else has a similar situation.
So far it's realistic enough for me, I placed it on my diving board which the texture of the diving board allowed me to position his body in a different manner but naturally his body wants to be in the "coiled" position.
