Trailer feels and tows much smoother. On my first trip after the install, a friend was following me and had noted how smooth the trailer was riding. The tires and now suspension where absorbing the road shock, but the trailer stayed even and smooth. Much less movement of contents as well. A great upgrade! The trailer does not have shocks, I had considered adding those too but not sure it would be necessary now or worth the cost.

After discussing this product with my local trailer axle service provider, who sells and repairs these, I decided to pass. Apparently the rubber "shocks" require service when they fail. When asked what this service costs, he replied, "the rubber is bonded to the metal, you have to replace the entire unit". When asked how often, he replied, "no way to tell as the units are not date coded." No replaceable parts makes this a non-starter for me. I will keep looking.
