Yes, you've seen Dri-Dek in the wild before - even if you don't go on boats. It's on the floor of the sauna and by the pool showers at the gym. It's at your favorite bar - watch where the bartenders put glasses to air-dry. If you want a little bit of airflow between a surface and whatever's going on top of it, Dri-Dek is your best bet.

PROS: Dishwasher-safe, though you do have to flatten it out a bit if you don't lay it flat to wash; lots of color options; pretty much custom-sizing, since you snap them together.

CONS: Your thumbs will be a little sore after snapping them together, but you know those things are NOT coming apart until you want them to. Use a towel, you'll be fine.

I became acquainted with Dri-Dek back in 1994 when I became the mechanic for my city fire department. Dri-Dek was used extensively in the equipment compartments on all of the fire and rescue trucks as well as in drying rooms for maximum airflow to aid in drying fire hose and other fire equipment. I also used it in the compartments and, after I slipped, on the walking deck of my equipment maintenance truck. Dry-Dek is great.

I am retired now and I am using Dri-Dek for something quite different. I use it now with my DVD player, external hard drives, laptop computer and modem. The design of Dri-Dek allows for really good airflow. My electronics work much cooler and so far have lasted much longer.

These tiles are great. I put them in the cockpit of an older sailboat I'm working on. They were easy to fit around the rudder and scuppers. They were easy to cut. The color is great and they instantly renewed the look of the boat. They really, really live up to the other good reviews.

What an amazing product for applications where water may be an issue. I used the Dri-Dek tiles in the rear hatch of my boat to keep all dock lines and fenders dry, as well in a hatch under the helm seat to keep life jackets and tool box off of the decking! The panels are easy to snap together and cuts very easy to form a perfect fit. GREAT PRODUCT!

These are great. Easy to snap together. Easy to cut for custom fit. Keep your stuff dry above the bottom of the boat.
