I have bought 2 of these as gifts, they are awesome! Just make sure you keep the little spoon looking thing that comes with them bc if you unplug or the power goes out you have to use it to reset/hover the helmet again but it only takes a second.

I bought one over 6 months ago and put it upstairs. It gets lots of attention. I like it so much I bought one for the basement and another for my godson's birthday. These are awesome. I only wish you could have an option for what color LED light so you could select your team's color, although the blue is very nice.

This thing is cool and gets a lot of comments. Great conversation starter in the office. Would love to see something like this with baseball.

Ordered this product for my husband's birthday today. He was initially impressed with the gift, declared that it was one of the "coolest gifts" he has received, and was already planning it's future home in his office aboard the ship he is stationed on. In less than 2 hours, after receiving and opening this present the helmet stop hovering. My daughter and I tried for 30 minutes to get it to hover again. The hardest part was listening to my husband attempt to analyze what he thought was wrong, using words and (made up) terminology like he was instantly a PhD in Electromagnetic Fields...followed my daughter and her instant nursing degree claiming "there is something wrong with the frontal lobe of the helmet." :)
It's a little disappointing but I am thankful that the issue happened on day 1 instead of day 31, when I could no longer replace/return this item.
There must be some issue with quality control because based on the other reviews this is an all to common occurrence.

We have requested a replacement. I will update this review accordingly based on how the replacement performs.

I got this for my hubby for his 35th birthday & he has gotten so many compliments on it. He loves it. Great buy!
