I have over 15 of MiLocks across my rentals and they are workhorses! When the mechanics of one unfortunately failed and the rear knob couldn't turn easily, I called the number. I filled the warranty claim form online and within days they sent be a brand new lock. 25 years of warranty? They have my sincere thanks and much respect.

Several screws didn't fit. Had to use a couple of my own screws. I bought two of these because they work great. They just packaged the 2 long screws with the wrong size. I had to use my own screws with both products.

I needed a lock to let my daycare families come and go without leaving my door unlocked all day or having to constantly let them in. I wanted a Schlage, but couldn't justify the price. And I wanted something simple. No need for Bluetooth or additional apps. Plus, the door jambs in my 60's house with horrible DIY repairs aren't the best and I haven't the time, money or energy to fix them right now.

Enter this lock.

Pros:
-Reasonable price.
-Quick and easy install.
-Very simple programming.
-Easy to use.
-Actually buttons instead of touchscreen (this works better for my truckasaurus hands).
-Let's you know when the batteries need changing.

Cons:
-One of the locks just stopped working after a month. The batteries were dying, then the buttons just stopped working when I replaced them. And the number for customer support doesn't help. You get directed to the website and can't speak to an actually person.
-It is loud! The beeps are loud. The locking mechanism is loud. And because of this, the batteries die faster than I expected.
-The auto lock isn't as fast as I'd like. It takes 5-10 seconds. For safety and security, especially with tiny escape artists, it would be nice if it only took a second or two to auto lock. Also, you have to unlock from the inside every time you go through the door. This works for me during the week when the children are here, but it's annoying when I don't have to worry about toddlers trying to run away.
-It lets you know when the batteries are dying by beeping obnoxiously when you try to unlock the door, and then not allowing you to unlock the door. Can we get a day warning?

Could do with some improvements, but it's cheaper and basic. So I'm cool with it.

Eventually I'll get the Schlage, but, for now, this works for me.

It is good quality and works really well. It was really easy to install and set the code. The only thing I don't like is how noisy it is when you use the keypad. The numbers make a loud beep noise and when it locks and unlocks it also makes a fairly loud noise. I have no regrets purchasing it, especially for for the price.

Key control has always been an issue at our small church. This has been the answer. Was a bit confusing to install, but works great.
