great racks

I really like these racks. Once you put them together they are very sturdy. I have other racks of similar design that are more flimsy, but these are quite firm and strong. The holes in the rack fit a 50ml tube well, but with enough room for the tube to easily be pulled out of the rack with no sticking.
Works but large slots

Fancy person alert: I like to write letters and notes using a dip pen and loose ink. I buy lots of ink samples from Goulet and Pen Chalet, and they come in small vials. I was tired of knocking over the vials and mopping up ink all the time, so I searched for something like this test tube rack to hold the vials while I dipped my pen. Does this work for that? Yeah, sorta. The individual holes are much larger than I anticipated-- I expected a snug fit for the vials, and instead, there's enough room for two vials to fit easily.
I do, however, like that putting on the top tray is optional-- these vials are short and so having just one short level is perfect. Altogether. I don't regret the purchase, but I do wish they fit a little better for this purpose.

Very easy to put this together. Snaps together in seconds. Definitely holds test tubes.

Packaged nice and easy to assemble. Got this to hold test tubes, I really should've measured cause the holes are way to big. However, that error was my fault not the product. The kids just are able to put two test tube in each slot.
