These heaters work great. Until it doesn't. We installed 4 of these heaters and 3 worked well but the 4th was a completely different story. After we hooked up the last heater 240v we walked away only to hear a POP CRACKLE BAG! We walked back in the room after hearing the noise and the heater core must have shorted out! The entire unit was melted and about 500 degrees. The wall was flaming hot so my installer ripped it out immediately and found it melted and destroyed. Not sure what malfunctioned but we sent it back quickly. My advice is to watch it closely for about 10 minutes to make sure nothing shorts out causing a potential fire hazard. The pictures show the damaged caused to the unit. Charred, melted fan blade, destroyed LCD and so on.
