and easy to mount

These are user-friendly, strong, and easy to mount. I was worried my muscular husband might not notice them and break them, but so far so good. I mounted two on the same sliding glass door near the top for a little extra strength against an adult accidentally opening the door too hard without folding them down first.
Great for doors, not so great for windows.

Seem to work fine for a sliding door. Description makes it sound like it would work for windows but not for ours. Yeah it'll stop a window from opening too far, but they're thick enough that, even when they're flat, you can't move the window past them. So as long as you never want to open your window past that point, you'll be fine.

I love these!! I have 2 sliding closet doors in my new apartment that I just imagined my son would slam his fingers within minutes of seeing them. I only put one on each set of doors at the top and LOVE them. Since they're clear he can't see them up high and hasn't even bothered with them since he can't see what's locking them!

I bought these to put on sliding glass doors of a vacation rental to keep my young one off the 5th-floor balcony. It worked great and I was able to remove them at the end of the week with dental floss and a dish sponge scrubber.
