this is the second one of these that I've bought (left the first one behind in a move by accident). They work quite well - baguettes come out with a nicely browned bottom. I haven't had any problems with the nonstickiness of this one, though my last one after a while seemed to need a bit of parchment paper in the bottom after a year or so.

I ordered this baguette pan because I've been playing around with making sour dough bread from starter. I've made rolls and various sizes of loaves, but haven't ever made baguettes before. The pan is light weight, yet sturdy enough that it doesn't feel flimsy. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes the baguette shape of bread. The loaves I made came out nice and crusty - the holes on the bottom of the pan allow for the oven air to penetrate the bottom of the bread while baking, making for an even, crusty crust all the way around. Nice pan!

I wasn't expecting the quality of this pan. It has chamfered edges so nothing sharp to worry about. The whole pan is perforated. The four troughs for the dough are a good size. (2.75" wide for each trough) You can just buy French bread dough in a can at the grocery store and bake 1 to 4 loaves for fresh bread! The perforations allow the bread crust to develop the crispness we all desire in French bread. I'm pleased with the quality and design of this pan.

Purchased this pan to make better homemade baguettes and this seems to help. Not only does it keep the shape of the loaf better (the ridges keep it from spreading, like it would on a regular cookie sheet) but the holes help it bake a bit more evenly on the underside so it's a crispier crust. So far, so good. It will take some trial and error to get my recipe just right but this pan will certainly help.

I have been making French Bread for many years and my Mother before me actually it is her recipe. We never had French bread pans so we just used a cookie sheet and it baked together making somewhat of an irregular loaf. I was given the opportunity to try this Baguette Pan at a discounted price so I decided to try it. It baked very well and even though I used to much dough they turned out pretty good. This was my 1st try so I found out I needed to use less dough and make more loaves. The loaves baked together as you can see in my photo, the result of too much dough. All in all, I give these pans a 5 star rating because if I use the right amount of dough I would have 4 beautiful loves of French Bread!
