Several Years Ago I bought the "As Seen on TV" equivalent and have been loving it over the years - When you have a BBQ and are cooking something (like Chicken or Sausages) that take a bit of time and you want to avoid Flare-Ups, then this is THE solution - I also have found that more delicate items like Fish benefit greatly by using this matt and just put a little oil on it and then the Fish and BINGO - great results. I loved that there were 5 pieces because I always wanted a second one so I could cover the entire Grill, Plus my friend was so impressed by the results that I gave him One to take Home ! Love Them AND - If you have one hanging around that you are not planning to use immediately I recommend put it on the bottom of your Oven to catch the drips - I did and now my wife does not complain when I make a cobbler and it overflows because the matt catches the mess and is easy to clean !

These are the greatest invention for bbq-ing. Especially if you gas grill burns unevenly like mine does. This solves all uneven charring, still get grill marks, amazing especially for fish where it's like grilling in a pan. I even cut one up and made a round non-stick omelette cooker for my frying pan (leaving a tab at each end to pull together when eggs set), where you can cook your omelette over very low heat, covered till it gets firm and then pull the tabs together and lay it on a plate and the omelette just slides off.
Also cleaning them is easy and fast, with even the most cooked on charred marinades. Truly the best new summer item!

Holy crap, these things are amazing! I used them tonight to make chicken thighs with a goopy marinade. They cooked wonderfully and even got grill marks. My grill isn't too big but I used two, overlapping to cover the whole surface. It worked great! And then cleanup was a breeze! I waited for them to cool down, used a paper towel to gather up the grease and food particles that fell off during cooking, then washed them easily with soap and water. They are dishwasher safe so I figured if they didn't clean well I would just throw them in there. Not at all necessary! I couldn't believe how easy they cleaned!
Also, I have celiac and so always have a problem going to people's houses for a BBQ (cross contamination on the grill from previous marinades). I usually ask them to put tin foil down for me but now I will always bring one of these to use! So much better than tin foil...and safer! (I don't know how many times the tin foil has caught fire on a grill!)
In short, this is a great product and I can't recommend it enough!

I did wish there were directions on the box as to whether you had sheet on grill during heating up process or not. I waited until it was time to put the meat on & it worked fine that way. These mats are great for my BBQ. There are some uneven cooking spots and these mats even out the cooking surface. They fit 2 out for the three burners on my grill and I use the third burner to sear meat that needs it. Cleans up pretty well, too. Waiting to try veggies out on it. I expect good results there, too.
