Nice jacket dress but dress is too long

While the dress fit well it was too long. I am 5' and the dress came to the middle of my calves I had to have it altered. Now it is perfect.

The layers are nice if you need something that doesn't hug you too smoothly. My big belly is not so obvious is this dress. Has some stretch to it so easy to get on. Petite size gave me a length for my 5'1" height that I can put heels on and not have to get it hemmed. Very happy with it. Not sure what I will do after the wedding as the care instructions say to "spot clean".

The dress is beautiful. Fabric is light, airy and elegant. I also found it easy to iron on a low setting with steam.
However, two things:
1. A size 10 had unusually small arm holes and very tight in the bust area.
I ordered a 12 and the arm holes were fine but still slightly small in the bust.
2. The difference in price from a 10 to a 12 was an AMAZING $59!!!! The size 10 was $101 while the 12 was $159. Why?
I did call customer service and received a gift credit for $20 as a consolation. It would have been nice to get $58 for the same dress. 🤷"â'€ï¸
