I bought these glasses as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She liked them very much and so did I. I never opened the box when I received it because I was giving it as a gift, but was very pleasantly surprised when my daughter opened the box and took out one of the wines glasses. I bought these because I was looking for large wine glasses that were fairly inexpensive. That's exactly what I got. The only complaint I have about these is that the glass is very thin, so I'm pretty sure I'll break one soon. So far they go through the dishwasher without breaking. They're quite large too, one glass holds almost half a bottle of wine!

I was searching for wine glasses after buying thin wine glasses that bust up just holding them! I found the answer with these! The glass itself is heavy and thick and is a very generous size.
They will last a lot longer than your usual wine glass. The only thing is because they have a thicker stem bottom, they don't fit my wine rack, but not a big deal. I'll just put them in a nice silver tray. ☺

I doubt they're made in Italy. In a factory called Italy in the backstreets of Guangzhou more like. Nothing against Guangzhou mind! There's *nothing* on the glasses that indicate country of manufacture, no sticker, nothing engraved. The glasses were crudely, but effectively wrapped in bubble wrap individually and placed in a generic cardboard box. The bix had a sticker (that looked printed on an inkjet printer) with the word Italy on it.
The glasses have a nice shape but have distortions in the lower part of the bowl. Absolutely nothing fancy. I'm going to keep them because I'm tired of returning things. No biggie. The first time I ordered this I was sent some ridiculous mugs that looked like large canning jars! They were butt ugly too!
