Essential in Germany but not needed in Sicily

We bought a charger for Apple phones and iPads for our journey to Sicily and Germany. The EU power descriptions / plugs are a little confusing. We thought we would need one of these adapters in Sicily. Not ture - the charger plugged directly in to the wall outlets in Sicily. We did however need one of these plugs in Germany. Unless you really understand the various plug types where you are going, this little package is a very good idea.
Worked great in London, Paris and Switzerland.

Worked great in London, Paris, and Switzerland. I bought this particular set because it had the right adapter for Switzerland. I used it to mainly to charge my iphone and my digital camera, one at a time. I used my regular 2 prong plugs that I use in the US. (Did not need voltage converter for what I was using, I think my camera charger was already dual voltage).
