I bought this to replace another 3-band splitter I bought on another website that had reversed stereo, a silly glitter band in the cheap cabling I didnt notice in the pics, and failed a few days after I bought it. This is much better. The cables are good quality, and the connector housings are made of a hematite-looking substance that makes a very heavy, satisfying click when tapped together, and they are properly wired so stereo is in the correct ear.

It does the job. I needed to use the microphone from a headset as an input to the GoPro Hero5 (using the GoPro mic adapter). This worked flawlessly. The only issue is that both plugs have the headphone symbol on them, but it could be just mine. No big deal - the red one is the mic.
