First we borrowed a gun to put up HardiePlank siding. Then we rented one. After dealing with too many misfires and double shots from those guns, we decided to buy this roofing nailer. Buying it was a life changer. No misfires. No double shots. We got the siding up and we will use the gun to reroof next. Though we are DIY people, we have good friends who are the same and they are thrilled to now have a roof gun they can borrow from us. Great tool!
