This product contains carrageenan, a thickening agent that may not be suitable for some people.

As of October 15, 2017 the advertised product and description show pure USP Calamine Lotion without carrageenan, a thickening agent that is now often added to Calamine Lotion. For most people, this is not bad, as the thickened solution does not run off and does not separate out. However, for a small number of consumers who can't have carrageenan, this product is NOT suitable.
