All 9 gray, pad pieces were delivered with 12 black, velcro sticker circles! (and early too!) The pads are not real squishy, but they will keep your helmet in place.
And its comfortable. The only slight drawback

I use this as padding for my heavy fighting helm in the SCA, I have been padding helms for over 30 years and this has been by far the easiest way to pad a helm I have found.And its comfortable. The only slight drawback, not enough to downgrade, is my helm has a mor pointed crown and the circular crown piece wasn't flexible enough to stick.

The will make a Kevlar helmet snug but not uncomfortable. The do absorb a lot of sweat but since the are Velcro connected they can be taken out and hand laundered.

Nice pads that work great in any steel helmet. You just can't go wrong with these pads they are nice and comfortable and give you plenty of comfort.
