Smooth and creamy butter

I purchased this mango butter to make some body butter. I have purchased another brand of mango butter previously, but when I opened this package I was surprised at how smooth and creamy it looked. The other brand I purchased was in a plastic tub and it was crumbly and hard which made it difficult to melt. Better Shea Butter brand is smooth and creamy and made a difference how the body butter turned out.

Mixed it with apricot, jojoba and "relaxation" oil. I also added a mango fragrance scent. Let it set in the fridge for an hour or so, and then used a hand mixer to whip it to a body butter consistency (picture added). Been using it daily! I keep it in a mason jar, stored in a cool place!

The day I got my mango butter I used it in a lotion I typically make with Shea butter, but wanted to try mango butter this time for its lack of scent. I was very pleased and and surprised at how long the smooth softness lasted on my legs and arms. I will be buying from this company again!

I love this stuff! I made my own cream with this mixed with some other oils I know that works well with my skins and my skin feels super soft. The only thing is that when i ordered this it was in the middle of summer and by the time I received it, it was a bag of liquid. I didnt open it immediately, instead i stuck it in the freezer. When i was ready to use it, some of the butter had oozed out its inside packaging into the bagged package (it is double packaged). It could have been a waste so Id say the packaging was pretty decent for it being liquid upon recipe. Otherwise very happy with my purchase. Just a mental note not to order during the summer.
