Subtle flavor but perfect for Asian cooking. Blend with ginger, onion, garlic, rice wine vinegar, and pepper for a spicy, bold meal. Stems included but you would use them from fresh garden cut thai basil as well. The leaves have a bit of loose leaf black tea taste as well.

It is Thai basil - so use for pho or other asian dishes (its not a substitute or as strongly flavored as Italian basil).
Dont cook too long (add it last) or it loses its aromatic flavor, as with fresh thai basil.

I have used this product frequently, but it's not always in the grocery store. I was happy to find it on Amazon. It adds an excellent flavor, but a slightly different taste than most basil. I really like it and hope to find it here again.
