You better have a truly large tuba to fill this bag up. I own a B&S "Neptune" CC tuba with a 20" bell and there was still plenty of extra room in this bag, particular in terms of length. The Neptune is a very heavy tuba. I found it both difficult and awkward to load it into this bag since the zipper stops at the edge of the bell. For that reason I chose to return it and continue using the heavy leather bag that came with the horn.

The Neptune isn't a short tuba, so I have no idea what tuba they had in mind when they designed it. Perhaps the Gronitz PCK would be a good candidate.

The straps seemed fine to me, although I didn't own it long enough to put them to the test. I liked the large outer pocket. I don't know what else to say since I didn't keep it. The construction of the bag seemed just fine to me. I know this isn't much help.

Really well made product and seems very sturdy however it's just too large for my tuba. Will have to senD it back but that is not a reflection on the quality of the product or amazons service which was great product arrived quickly.

Awesome bag!

Purchased the bag to replace a hard case that had seen some abuse when we received it. The bag is longer than we need but works well. We stuffed a pillow in the bag to make up some of the difference. Thick padding all the way around makes me feel much more comfortable that it offers some protection. My son loves having the backpack straps on it.

Perfect bag for '72 Miraphone. Also have euph and trombone bag that I have used for years. This product is of the same quality. Good product and excellent value. Recommended.
