The sprouts were slower than the description suggested, but over half the seeds did become successful plants. The leaves are so much thicker, meatier and sturdier than regular spinach. They are absolutely thriving under my LED grow light in January and even the terrible February we have been having where the power kept going off. First time I have tried this plant and so far I am thrilled. The flavor is quite like spinach but without the dry squeaky feel.

It's my first planting this so I wasn't prepared to wait that long. All the seeds have to be soaked in the water for >3 weeks and then they start to have roots coming out. But overall only 50% germinated.
