I would not buy it again. I checked the weight limit. And even though I'm 100lbs lighter than the weight limit, the hook came apart. I fell on the floor and had a bruised spine for a few weeks. Would not buy it again.

Folks this is crap! 1000 lbs ?? I weight 180 lbs and my hanging chairs is maybe 40lbs and this bent and the metal was worn away unless than 3 weeks of use and I don't sit in my chair everyday !!! Useless

I was truly excited to receive these swivel hooks and put them into use to hang the swings we use nearly every day. Rated for 1000 lbs, I was positive we'd never have to worry about them letting go and someone falling down. I was very, very wrong. We've had the hooks up for less than a month with maybe less than 10 hours of use and they are not exposed to extreme heat or the elements. This morning, one of the hooks broke and landed my 70 year old sister on her back on a wooden floor. Looking at both hooks, the one that broke also stretched. The second hook doesn't even swivel anymore. I wouldn't recommend that anyone purchase these hooks if you plan to use them where a person is involved. Hang a plant - maybe - not a swing!
