My 5 year old has been asking for pretend makeup for a while now, so we got her this mess-free set for PreK graduation.
She has not stopped playing with it since it arrived. Her little sister is trying to get in on it too. She does not care that it is not "real", the brushes feel soft and the other parts look like realistic.
I get Ipsy makeup sets each month, so the little makeup bag looks like something I would get too. This just adds to the fun.

Love this!! Absolutely perfect for my toddler who loves emptying out my makeup bag every morning. While she can definitely break/damage some of the items, I'd much rather she work her magic on this pretend makeup than my real stuff :) So far so good, and we are very impressed with the quality! Would definitely purchase for friends.
