Love it, I don't use so I can switch from a dark to light color shadow I just use it to clean off shadow to prolong the time period to wash the brush. Which is great because less water on the brush handles the better but I still want them clean. It does remove excess product because you can lift the sponge out and you will see the fallout in can. Its gentle enough on both my cheap brushes and my expensive ones and I have noticed no additional shedding or damage to my brushes.
This does exactly what is intended for!!

It works perfectly .
I would not attempt to try to clean a black shadow and then go for a very light one, but for very similar colors it works perfectly.

I was surprised by how well this removed even black eye shadow from the brushes. Just swirl them around and they are ready for a new color.
And the sponge dries very quickly when you need to wash it.

A more affordable version of a rather spendy product. It does what it says, cleans brushes between colors without water. This is not a substitute for a real washing, however, it stretches time between them out. Well worth every penny and handy to keep around.
