ECR4Kids Birch 8-Section Streamline Coat Locker is a nice coat locker with a variety of uses. I opted to use is as part of a mudroom 'area' I created for the kids. It has worked well. There is enough space to store their jackets, maybe a small book book bag (we don't use it for book bags though) in the locker area, and the cubby area above is good for just about anything to small baskets, books, etc. When I received it, I only received one box. I emailed customer service who asked for every document imaginable to prove that I had not received the entire unit. Although it was a pain in the ass, I compiled everything, provided it to them via email and they were very accommodating. I'm overall very satisfied.

This is a nice coat closet/organizer. It came in the original box from UPS intact. It is a heavy package, so you might need two people to bring it inside. I had to take it apart outside and bring it in piece by piece to assemble. Assemble is straight forward and easy. The pieces fit together nicely, although some parts need a bit more persuasion, but nothing impossible. It has a nice high quality look to it, and looks like it fits in a day care, or classroom. All my kids jackets, and shoes fit in neatly. It is a lot bigger than what I need, but you can never have enough space. It is very short, but perfect for my toddlers. If you have older kids, they will need a regular sized closet. This I meant for kids under 5.

This is a great quality item perfect for in-home care of very little kids. Note that only a very small sized jacket or backpack can fit in the rectangular cubes so this would be kindergarden age kids or younger. Snowboots, snowpants, etc. wouldn't really fit. But the quality here is lovely, it looks very good filled or empty, and can withstand constant abuse/use - it doesn't feel like it would fall apart easily. Of course, you will still want to attach this to a stud in the wall to ensure safety.

This worked out great to store our kids clothes, toys and games. Wish there was some storage at the bottom for some shoes, but it's not the end of the world. The wood was sturdy but of course I wish was better - but I think that would cost ALOT more money. I don't anticipate this not being durable enough so I am pleased with the product. I would totally recommend this to a friend who is looking for nice storage to keep all their kids junk off the floor.....

The 8-section Coat Locker by ECR is a wonderful locker for my mud room. We have hangers for coats as we enter, but no place for wet shoes, backpacks, jackets, umbrellas or stuff. It is a very sturdy piece of furniture and takes two people to put it together. It really is a great design for get maximum storage in a small amount of space. I measured and re-measured to be sure I could get it in the space where I wanted it to be. It looks great in that mud room space.
