These were a little thinner than I would have liked. I bought them as an alternative to sleeping in sleeping bag on he bare floor for my toddlers during Christmas travels but they weren't as padded as I would have liked. I ended up using them as changing pads at my mothers house

Based on other reviews we went with the 1 inch mat. Even the 1 inch is pretty thin. I would definitely NOT go with the 5/8 inch. Kids use them for daycare and seems to work well.

Arrived just on time for school. This rest mat was made with soft vinyl that is easy to disinfect. The only thing is, its a little short for my son but I'm satisfied with the quality and my son loves it. Thank you.

We've had a bunch of these over the years with 4 little kids in daycare, and they just always end up with rips and tears within a year. I assume part of that is little kiddos picking at them during naptime, but it would be great if they'd hold up better. Last time I bought the thick one, but accidentally got the thin one this time and it feels SUPER thin. Will go back to thick next time. Still have a 3yo and 2yo in daycare so I expect to go through about 5 more... : )
