My friend bought this wand and had nothing but good things to say about it. I already owned two interchangeable wand/iron sets so I didn't consider getting this one for myself. That is until I went to her house and used it for myself. I was blown away with the results. At that time I used the largest non-tapered barrel and just loved how my hair looked. Posted a selfie (of course) and didn't even mention my hair, and comments came flying in about how much everyone loved my hair. I used it again the very next day. The sets I currently owned before this one only had three barrels and one of the was $100. So I thought this was going to be extremely pricey. When my friend told me the price I immediately bought it. Since receiving my own I have curled my hair twice with the medium non-tapered barrel and I truly didn't think I could like anything more than the the first two times I used it with the larger barrel. I was wrong. Utterly obsessed with the results of the medium barrel. I have pictures of both styles included. All my life I have had problems with my hair not holding a curl so every iron/wand I own is top of the line and very expensive (I.e. Bed Head, Hot Tools, CHI, Nume). My hair holds all day long with very minimal product (I just did a light coat of hairspray, which usually I need a ton of expensive products plus hairspray). I can honestly say I should probably just give away all my other ones now (I have about 15) because I know I will hardly ever use them anymore now that I have this set. It's got everything I need right here for only $33. I'm still waiting for the catch. I will recommend this wand to every one I know! Heats up super fast, and the second heat setting gets very hot (over 400°) so you really just need to wrap your hair around the barrel and let go, no leaving it on the barrel for 15 seconds each. Super easy to use and maneuver with its long cord. I could go on for days, everything about it's is just AMAZING! Buy this wand, you won't regret it.

I'm not going to lie to you, I'm new at most of this girl stuff like makeup and hair styling, but this has worked perfectly for me so far (minus a tiny burn or two due to my own carelessness, trust me, you learn your lesson pretty quick, no burns on my hands thanks to the glove, if only they sent one that was elbow length I wouldn't have a bandaid on my forearm). As someone who didn't really understand the difference between a large barrel and a small one this was a great way to figure out what personally suits me (and if I ever change my mind I have the options). I have been curling my hair pretty much every other day since I got this now, and even as a newbie it doesn't take to long at all! So far so good!

Then what the immoderate results of all 5 barrels are from largest to smallest using the same texhnique for the same amount of time (If they are to be used different ways, I warned you, I'm a newb) then I break them up a bit in the third pic and the fourth is what they look like after being brushed through ( hope this helps in case you are clueless like me!)

Super excited about this buy. I got everything that was promised in the description. The iron seemed a little light when I opened it, which kind of worried me, but it works like a dream and is easy to assemble. It heats up fast, I tried all of the wands immediately on different pieces of hair and loved each one (This also created a super cute messy look that I will try again, handle with care), especially the biggest and smallest ones. I have super long and thick hair so I need the super fat iron for everyday and the tiny one makes itty bitty curls that look amazing when teased. The glove is very good, you can keep your hand in one spot without having to rush your curl. It is snug, struggled to fit my smallish/med hand so I am not too sure how it would stretch to accommodate. Because i have such heavy hair i have to use a hairspray to set my curls so I can't speak to how long they last standalone. This was a steal and I am still so happy.

I bought this to replace a $300 set I had purchased a few years ago. I had low expectations given the price, but was blown away with the results.

I used the largest barrel for my hair in these photos and sectioned off 1/2 inch pieces to curl. Wrap the hair around the barrel and hold it sideways (horizontally makes a huge difference in the type of curl) for 5 seconds, and then release and lightly comb through the curls for best results.

Note: it's very easy to accidentally burn yourself with this iron so please be careful! Ive burned myself a couple of times and it took about a month to fully heal.

Just received the product 3 days ago. These rods can hold curls for days! I have fine, silky hair and I didn't even use hair spray. The two settings are very hot, so please be careful and wear your glove. I would highly recommend this purchase; well worth the money.

In the photo, I'm using the smallest rod. I didn't hold my hair around the rod too long to prevent heat damage. Otherwise, the curls would've been tighter.
