Been eating this stew since I was a kid. I'm 63 now and still love it on a cold day with bread and butter.
I can honestly say this is the only beef stew I like.

Never been a fan of beef stew but this stuff is VERY good. The meat is nice and chunky too, a lot better than other can soup offerings.
Good flavor, lots of beef too. Made an excellent Beef Pie.

I use a glass deep-dish pie plate and two Pillsbury rolled pie crusts, add this large can (38oz) of stew and it makes an excellent meat pie. Bake at 375 deg. for 30-40 minutes until brown crust. Have gravy available too. Excellent meal. Before using, you can add additional spices. I used a half package of beef stew mix. Great leftovers. Cover and Refrigerate.Lasts 3-4 days.
Quick man food

Prefer to make homemade beef stew. However, when you're low on time or in a rush, this is a decent substitute. I don't find any canned or processed food to be really healthy or anything, but when I need a quick lunch or dinner for the kids, this with some biscuits do the trick.
