Phone's side buttons pressed at all times (depending on brand and model)...

One thing nobody leaving revies has mentioned and which is a major flaw is that, at least with the note 8, if you snap the phone so that the grip of the device holding it is dead center, the "hands" holding your phone press immediately on your power, bixby, and volume down keys on the side of the phone. I didn't give it much thought, until two times my phone has rebooted to the OS and I have been only one key press away from "restore factory settings", which needless to say, would erase my phone. If you try to reposition the phone to avoid the buttons, then the phone is uneven and not only looks but also feel weird. Finally, I found it to be a major flaw that it brings not even the minimal drawn instructions on how to setup and use, but the clicks between rotation settings is not strong at all. You set it in one position. Move around doing regular stuff... Driving typing, standing. Then check the phone. It will be in a totally different orientation than what you put it on about 90%of the time.

I give it 5 stars as the product does seem to work as advertised. However (and due to the phone design) the power and volume buttons on my device are all on the same side and thus this holster presses on anyone of the buttons causing it to turn the volume way up, down, or turn my phone off while holstered. The fix I found for it is to have the fixed side be on the same with the control buttons, but it is still a work in progress to find the perfect placement.

The concept is wonderfully but the holster has too many design flaws. First off the material for the grips is a hard plastic which unfortunately permits the phone to slide contrary to its purpose. Secondly the clamp is spring based, a locking mechanism would improve its grip, after several uses my phone would slide and would move a bit. Most dangerous flaw is the two screws sticking out which can potentially scratch your screen or finger print scanner,in my case it made a deep scratch in my finger print scanner on my first use. I cannot recommend the product since it struggles to do its purpose and can potentially damage your device.

Great smart phone belt clip. The spring system that holds the phone in place is very strong. You really have to hit against something really hard to get the phone out

I needed a holster that could clip on my pants while I walked around the house or walking my dog with my phone vertical...not horizontal. Pokemon Go has to be vertical or it goes to sleep, so I found this and decided to give it a try! Just arrived today and I ordered one for my husband I'm so happy with it (not for Pokemon--for when he walks the dog and has shorts or pants with shallow pockets)! Great quality, my iPhone 6 doesn't slip or pop out and stays securely. It's exactly what I needed to hatch my eggs! I'm also going to clip it on my roomba when it's running! LOL It's great! (I'm ridiculous...I know ;-) )
