blu ray player
discodjMarch 16, 2017
unit works good But its the worst remote ever, its for china hands only, its so small it should be in a kids toy
if you are a guy with regular size hands forget this, smallest remote you will ever see
I would give it 5 stars if it had a regular normal size remote
Re-furb not refurbished -- piece of crap
Sam E. OtisMarch 5, 2017
This player is fine, except that most of the time it doesn't send a signal through the HDMI cable -- so, it's basically worthless. Serves me right fort buying a re-furb. Who ever re furbished this machine did a lousy job -- don't ever buy from them.
Great for Casual Use
LuluJanuary 12, 2017
This blu-ray player is perfect for the casual DVD/CD user who doesn't need bells & whistles, wifi, apps, etc. For those customers who want all the extras, this isn't for you. I purchased this refurbished player two weeks ago at a reasonable price, have watched a couple of blu-rays, and so far it's worked well and I'm pleased with my purchase. The audio and video quality is excellent. The reason I have it 4 out of 5 stars is the remote is comically small, like the size of half a candy bar, and I have to wear my reading glasses to see the buttons. But for my purpose and the price of this unit, I highly recommend this product.
Great price, performs as expected

Great price, performs as expected. Took one star off because the power light goes off after a few minutes although the power still seems to be on, which is confusing. Hoping the refurbished unit lasts a while.
Good but slow.

For $30 it's not bad at all. It plays DVDs, Blue-Rays, and CDs which is great. My only issue with this (and maybe it's because it's refurbished) but it's very slow, especially when you first put a disc in, it takes forever to load and then trying to get to the main menu is almost impossible to do in less than 5 minutes. Not a big deal for us because we rarely watch discs but for anyone who watches a lot of DVDs or Blu-Rays, you may want to look elsewhere. Like I said, for $30 it's a nice disc player but if you're looking for speed, this one definitely isn't for you.
