This is the neatest thing since sliced bread. Someone gave a review of 1 star saying his 31G needles wouldn't fit. I also use 31G and they fit just fine - perhaps he didn't have the clipper open when trying to insert the needle? Anyway, you get 3 clippers in the pack and if they hold as many needles as they claim, the pack should last you three years (one year per clipper). This is easy to use and easy to store. It already has the bio-hazard label attached and should go through airport security easily. I showed this to my diabetes educator and she's planning to suggest it to her other patients. The BD Safe-Clip makes disposal of the rest of the syringe easy and much safer. You could throw the syringe in the trash if you wish but since there is a teeny nub left after the needle is clipped I still prefer to put used syringes in a hard-sided container marked with a bio-hazard label. Highly recommend this product!
Less hassle than the usual bio-hazrd disposal of pen needles

In many states, using this clip will allow you to dispose of pen needles in the trash, as it removes the bio-hazard end of the needle. The end that punctures the pen is still there, but that is not usually considered a bio-hazard, and the cap makes it unlikely that someone would stab themselves. However, it will NOT cut the lancets, so you still need to dispose of those as a bio-hazard. Because you use a lot more pen needles than lancets, that is not too inconvenient.

Packing this in your needle kit will take less room than keeping all of the pen needles for bio-hazard disposal. When it finally is filled with needles, get another safe-clip. It does leave a very tiny needle stub, which never entered your skin. That stub will be covered by the cap.
Needle disposal is simple and safe.

Three in a package allows for a sharps cutter in my bag or pocket, and one in my desk drawer work and on my bedside table. These sharp cutters clip off and hold the sharp dangerous part of a needle. This allows for easy disposal of syringes and pins. Each holds 1500 needles.

Love the product, works great, so easy to use and feel much better disposing of used diabetic supplies for our dog"¦. BUT we paid for 3 of these and only received 1. How can I file a complaint? Would love the other 2 I paid for.
Replacement for a Sharps Box

I have Type 2 Diabetes and I use this for the sharps that I prick my finger with to test my blood sugar. It clips the needle tip off and self stores them for disposal when full. I had gotten one from the doctor when first diagnosed and had to replace it as it was no longer cutting well. This works great.
