Great product, overpriced jojoba oil

Compared to the Deborah Lipman cuticle cream, this works amazing. I love the "pen" dispenser since you can carry it around in your purse and use the brush tip right after a manicure before your nails have fully dried. However, the main ingredient is Jojoba oil, which the company claims is the only oil that is fine enough to penetrate the nail bed. So you are paying a lot of money for this tiny amount that you get in the pen (it also has a few other ingredients in it). For me personally, I did see a huge difference in the skin around my nails, so it works great (I have been using it after I wash my hands every time for almost a month now.) I did re-order one, but will only be using it for manicure days. For daily use, I decided to just buy a bottle of cold press organic jojoba oil, its much more economical. I didn't realize this until I read the company's website, you are supposed to put the oil on your nails as a treatment to help them grow, which they have (I thought you only needed to put it in the area where the nail comes out of the cuticle.)

I watch Simplynailogical on YouTube and after seeing Cristine use this nail oil pen I've decided to give it a try. I've been using this pen consistently (2-3 times a day for 2 weeks) and I'm already seeing a huge improvement in my nails. I wash my hands a lot and sometimes pick at the skin around my nails, so they're often brittle-looking, peeling, and the skin around them dry or cracked. Since using this pen, my nails are much smoother and shinier, and the sores around my nails are healing and the skin's not so dry.
I keep my nails short anyway so I didn't purchase this solely for nail growth, although I have noticed them grow a bit faster. I'm so glad I tried this and will continue to do so! The pen also comes apart so it can be refilled.

I've been using this product twice daily for about two weeks now and all I've noticed is that one of my more dry cuticles just peels like all hell, as well as increase how many hangnails I've had. It doesn't seem to do anything for my nails. I'm giving it a little longer to see if there's any effect over time, but as of now, I don't think I'll repurchase.
EDIT: After posting this review, the company reached out to me and asked for pictures of what happened with my cuticles and determined that it was a vitamin a sensitivity. They sent a new pen without the vitamin a free of charge and were just all around pleasant, ergo the change in rating. Great company, will definitely order from them again, if not the nail oil (but we'll see how this new one goes!)

I absolutely love the Bliss Kiss products. I also love Vanilla. Unfortunately, this pen doesn't smell a thing like vanilla, it smells like a sharp perfume that I couldn't even detect vanilla scent. I'm sensitive to scents and this is too much for me, unfortunately. Back to unscented for me I guess.
Update: I may have been given the wrong pen. Either way, the Bliss Kiss team were FANTASTIC and sent me a fragrance free pen instead. Wonderful company and wonderful product!

I NEVER leave reviews for anything I buy, good or bad, because I buy so much stuff from Amazon, but THIS deserves a review. My nails we brittle, flaky, and peeled very easily. I applied this multiple times a day, and saw mega improvement in my nails. They weren't completely fixed so I bought another, because as I said, my nails were improving. I'm a little more than halfway done with the second one and my nail are so strong! So so strong. I totally recommend it. It's worth the $8
