I would buy another!

Very happy with this purchase. I would suggest that you go ahead and wash it once you receive it--it becomes a lot fluffier and softer after that. I tried just putting in the dryer at first but washing really made the difference.
NICE QUILT, BUT WOULD BE BETTER WITH A LITTLE MORE DOWN

Very nice for the money. Down a little thin, but still warm. Fabric is nice and not slippery. I previously had one with satin fabric that was so slippery it absolutely would not stay on the bed.
Definitely Keeps You Warm

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it. I read the reviews and there were quite a few negative ones but having used one of these that a friend let me borrow at a retreat last month, I knew what I was getting. It was just perfect to add some warmth to the bedding that was rather sparse in this oceanfront condo we rented. It was in the middle of winter (and a rather harsh on for the Oregon Coast) and it got COLD at night. After I complained about the cold, my hostess lent me this and it certainly kept me warm for the remainder of the trip.
It is true that there is not a lot of down in the throw but it's sufficient for most uses, the company does not claim it to be like a full scale comforter nor as a sub-zero sleeping bag, it's meant to be a throw to cuddle under and keep warm on a cold evening and it does a superb job of that. My friend had hers in her car where she keeps it as an emergency blanket and I bought a second one to do just that. It compacts down into a small stuff bag (I purchased that separately) and it takes up very little room in my car.
Another 'plus' in my mind is the fabric it's made from. Many such comforters (that are not meant to be stuffed into a Duvet cover) have either a rough decorative covering or in some cases are made with that slithery nylon that slips off of you easily and rustles too. The covering on this is thin and velvety, a rather unusual texture for something like this, I really like it. If you are looking for a down comforter for your bed, look elsewhere but if you want a throw for your sofa that will keep you toasty on a chilly evening this is great.

Love this down throw! Fabric is soft and down content is good. I've machine washed and dried with great results. Can't beat this for the price. Will be buying more!
Great throw

Very nice. It was a little flat when it arrived, so I tossed it in the dryer to fluff it up. Fluffed up nicely. So far no leaking feathers and it is nice and warm
