I was a little weary about buying this carb for my 1967 dodge truck 318 but this carb works great right out of the box installed and adjusted runs great and fuel mileage is very good I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase

Used this carburetor on my 1967 GMC truck with a 351 GMC V6 (yes V6) with an adapter plate. Carburetor worked well and the truck ran good, but the choke thermostat did fail fairly quickly and the choke pull off developed a vacuum leak and failed to work after about 2 months of use. Funny thing is the choke thermostat and choke pull off cost about half of what this carburetor cost!!! I was able to obtain both parts from the local parts store to repair it. All in all for the price, I would buy it again! Makes a great universal 2 bbl carburetor!!

So if you buy this thing go ahead and take it apart and put it together correctly. The pump inside was detached. The float was not in the slot it needed to be in to function. The needle was out of it laying in the bowl. So if you know nothing about carbs don't buy this one. The gasket that came with it leaks air also. Had to go buy a felpro.
