I bought these for a custom bar-counter in a commercial office tenant's kitchen space; the counter is solid wood and measures 6' long by 18" wide. My maintenance guy installed using all four brackets into studs. It feels sturdy and is attractive. It's a good value for the price. I also bought a set of four smaller brackets from this same vendor, used for open wood shelves installed above the counter and am happy with that, too.
Would be a better bracket if it didn't bend when weighted

The brackets were clean and simple -exactly what I wanted. Was disappointed that there was about a quarter inch of give when weight was applied. Bought 8 of them to support two shelving units that weigh about 25 pounds but needed to have a brace welded to each one to make a triangular shape that did not give way when weight was applied. Asked prior to purchase if they could hold the weight......which they could. I did not think to ask if the brackets were rigid since I didn't expected a steel bracket to be springy. So they ultimately cost an extra $100 to have the welding work done so we could use them. Would be a better bracket if it kept a 90 degree angle and didn't bend when weighted.

Good sturdy brackets. Purchased these for some kitchen shelves and they were sturdy and easy to put up. I will be reordering some more today
