I've had these for one session at the gym....in a word, quality. If there's not a video showing them in use, i'll try to post one. The leather is one not segmented, just stitching, so no worries about it pulling apart. The Wrist Wrap is velcro with a one-size fits all. The wrist wrap is broad providing stability to the wrist bones, and the padding comfortable.

The leather wrap is just long enough to allow you to grab dumbbells or bar, and cinch it up a bit to make it nice and tight. As you can see the pad is broad, protecting your hands and providing excellent comfort. I don't do dead's, but did use them with 230lbs shoulder shrugs. The leather is stronger than your hands (mine at least), and while you can feel it pulling, it's comfortable. If your pressing, either wrap, or allow the bar to sit on the pad...

Highly recommend.

These lifting gloves are a game charger. I'm decently strong but have always had issues with my wrists and hands. No matter how much I lift, my grip just doesn't seem to be on par, well at least not when it comes to dead-lifts. Perfectly compensate for the lack of grip and truly allow my whole body to work. Sucks when your hands are done but you know you haven't pushed yourself to the point of growth change. These gloves allow that and can't wait to see the progress over the next few months.

Comment: For people with smaller wrists, even at it's tightest, the grips can still be pretty loose. Personally, I like it to be tighter for the simple fact that I FEEL it's more secure. Performance wise, for your pulls, they don't affect it one bit. You should be completely fine. For a product claiming that it can replace wrist wraps, it can't do that. The lack of tightness won't make it an effective product to help protect your wrist for push exercises. I'm sure most of us that are buying this product are using it for deadlifts or other pulling exercises, so for that, it's a 5/5.

Comparisons to the Versa Grips: From the photos on Amazon, you might think that it is pretty narrow at the base of the grips, but in reality, it isn't. It is wide enough to grip the bars without causing any unnecessary bulk. Build quality is great and at half the price of the Versa Grips, you can't go wrong.

Honestly? The price is what initially drew me to look at these over the Versa Gripps. Now, at first glance, they look very similar. However, I did my own research and found that the Cobra Grips were better.

The first thing is comfort, this is huge as gear that takes your grip out of the equation is used when you are lifting heavier. The Versa Gripps tend to "dig" into your wrist a lot more on heavier pulling lifts. Now, look at any comparison video. You will see that there is more padding around the wrist for the Cobra Grips than there is for the Versa Gripps.

Another thing that concerned me was that Versa Gripps came in different "sizes." When shopping online, there is always a risk of the customer choosing the wrong size. Not so much with the Cobra Grips, as there is a 1 size fits all. That is very reassuring and swayed me even further towards the Cobra Grips.

As for lifting? My double overhand grip starts to open up when I go past 3 reps on 275 with the dead lift. I easily hit 5 reps today with 275 on the bar with the Cobra grips.

Again, the Versa Gripps costs much more and isn't as comfortable. So it's a unanimous victory for the Cobra Grips in this one.
