My kids have shot these arrows a dozen times each. They are good arrows, and a great value! The only issue is that the fletching on 3 have already come off.

Bought these to replace the extremely cheap arrows that came with the youth starter bow kit. These have been perfect for my daughter with solid, durable points and much more durable fletching. They are of good construction and fly well. Add to that you get spare parts to repair damaged arrows and this was a perfect set of arrows, at a great price should they be destroyed, to get a kid started in archery.

Good, tough, disposable backyard range arrows for kids. Nothing special, but better made than the other generic carbon arrows I've tried. I wouldn't shoot a tourney with them, but for all day backyard fun, they're perfect.

These are excellent arrows for the price. If you're expecting the same level of performance as custom-cut, spine-matched, weight-matched, made-to-order arrows, OF COURSE you're going to be disappointed. But there are a few things you can do to get the most out of these arrows:

[1] These are 1000 spine. So, even though the description says for use with bows up to 60lbs, you will be severely underspined (i.e. "floppy arrow syndrome") if you use anything over 28-30 lbs. I'm using these on a 26 lb recurve and they perform very well for me.
[2] Be sure to turn the nocks so the vanes are correctly oriented for your bow (e.g., index vane OUT for recurve).
[3] Invest in a decent rest, so the vanes don't get torn up on a cheap, stamped metal sharps hazard of a rest. I'm using the AAE Super Flight rest with the teflon sleeve.
[4] If/when the vanes get creased, bent, wavy etc., dip each fletched end in a pot of boiling water for 5 seconds, then allow to cool to room temperature. The vanes will straighten right out.
[5] The points are glued in, but actually will come out over time, so you should periodically check the tips for snugness. You can also invest in some hot melt glue to fix them in place.

The punchline is, these are great arrows for 20m indoor target shooting, but don't expect olympic quality for the price you'll pay.

Great looking arrows but as a beginner to archery didn't realize these wouldn't be correct for my bow. Be sure to do some additional research and make sure you get the correct arrows for your bow.
