Great LED lamp!

I've gotten a manicure professionally done maybe half a dozen time in my life. It was always something I couldn't find the time for, or just didn't feel like going to when I could do other exciting things. I also hated doing my own nails, so overall my nails were just never done.
For some reason, I decided that I needed to look somewhat presentable when I was on maternity leave--probably to add some sanity to my life, since I was always home and not showering was just so easy. I figured that I should look into gel nails, since I hate doing my nails and gel lasts longer.
I love this thing! I've now used it with three different brands of LED polish (not UV, although I wouldn't know the difference so who knows what it is, but it says LED so), and it works without fail. 30 seconds for base coat, 60 seconds color (I always do one coat since I don't like opaque colors), and two 60 second top coat sessions. Swab with rubbing alcohol and bam, good for two weeks until I inevitably break a nail or something.
The timing I use is entirely arbitrary. I have no idea if I'm doing it for too long or not enough. I don't know why I do it the way I do it. Just seems to work, so good enough for me.

My boss asked me to purchase an OPI gel lamp for $200 and I came across this beauty thank god ! It saved me basically $175 and I do use it professionally in a salon and the results were awesome. DND brand gel 30 seconds base and 60 seconds for all other coats. Auto light is great. Short cord but nothing an extension cord can't fix !
Excellent Lamp

This lamp is a major upgrade to my old bulky ass UV lamp. It's small, light and did a fantastic job of curing my nails. I use DND polish. Cured the base coat + 3 thin coats of color for 30s each, then 60s on the top coat.
A MUST HAVE FOR GEL MANICURES!!!!!

I normally do my own nails, fear of germs in the nail salons. I wanted to try the gels to make my manicure last longer. The regular polish chips really bad after a couple of days. I wanted something that would at least get me thru 7-10 days. I purchased the soak off base coat and top coat to use with the light. It worked perfectly with no issues. My first gel manicure lasted about 7 days. I'm new to this, so I learned a few thing as I went along. I use 2 basecoats, the light with each application. I put on regular polish, but I use the light to cure it. I put on two applications of the top coat, use the light with each application. This process gives it a more professional look and will last longer. After wearing for three days, I apply one application, this helps to extend my manicure. I love this light. If performs just as indicated. Now I can get a salon perfect manicure. I paid $19 for an open box light. Gel manicures range from $29 to 40 per visit. I'm saving a lot of money. I highly recommend this light it works great on gel manicures.
Takes more than 1 min but works with Shellac.

Love this beautiful design. The curve fits where all the fingers are put. I cure my Shellac for 2+ min each, and it works! Highly suggest to cover the UV light with a magazine or something to block from your eyes when using it, otherwise eyes feel tired.
