My old bike had toe clips and I found how much better you can pedal when you pull as well as push. It is the best way to ride. My new bike came without them and I was looking to buy pedals with them attached. However, I saw these and tried them. They work really well. I attached them to my pedals which took about 5 minutes, because my pedal had a slot for the strap on only one side, so I spent some extra time using zip ties to attach the other side. Then I used the velcro to make them a little bigger than my shoes. When I start riding I get rolling then use my toe to flip my pedal so the strap comes up over my shoe. It works better than the ones I had on my old bike!
